Work

Currently a Tech Lead Engineer on the Platform team at Electrum. Right now my main focus is building an IoT solution to detect battery fraud — cases where users are supposed to return batteries to the BSS but instead swap them out or steal them entirely.

The challenge is making the detection reliable and confident enough to act on, not just flag. Interesting problem at the intersection of hardware signals, data consistency, and trust.

Side Projects

Publishing my first post on this blog — about how a production AI agent gateway actually works from the inside. Not theory. I ran one, things broke, and I had to actually understand the architecture to fix them.

Running OpenClaw as a personal AI OS — a self-hosted agent gateway on my own server. Multiple agents (Stella, Jiwoo, Wasawho) handling daily intel, email summaries, and engineering task management. The whole setup runs autonomously; I mostly tune it when something drifts.

Building Pilot — a small web UI in Go + Templ + HTMX for managing the engineering task board that Jiwoo and Wasawho operate on. Replacing manual file edits with something I can actually click through.

Learning

  • → AI agent architecture — not the hype layer, the plumbing. Context management, tool execution, delivery guarantees, concurrency. The stuff that breaks in production.
  • → Go + Templ + HTMX — building server-side rendered UIs without a JS framework. Turns out you can build fast, interactive interfaces with very little JavaScript if you design the server layer right.
  • → Temporal — using it at work to orchestrate complex workflows. Still going deeper on the internals: history replay, activity retries, and how to model long-running processes properly.
  • → CloudNativePG (CNPG) — running PostgreSQL on Kubernetes the proper way, with operator-managed lifecycle, backups, and failover.

Outside of Code

Gym is now a consistent part of my week — treating it as a non-negotiable rather than optional. It helps, but I am actively looking for a new hobby or activity to better manage stress outside of work.

Open to suggestions. If you have something that works well, I would genuinely like to hear it.
